Jenn & co. visit --
My beloved former roommate, Jennifer Dorsch, and company (sister Shell, not Shelly :), my new nurse contact, Angela, and former PCV/current agenda planner, Sarah) paid me a quick 48 hour visit at the end of August. Arrived late late on a Thursday evening, and back out the door early early that Sunday morning. They really were the visitors who came and left in the night. It's amazing what can be accomplished in such a short time frame when an itinerary builder like Sarah is on board though. Highlights include the ferry boat ride to Nanaimo for these four ladies to go bungee jumping!? I filmed them :) See Jenn's jump...down at the bottom (couldn't figure out how to drag it up here...WATCH IT!)
Camping for Labor Day Weekend --
Pamela (pronounced PAM-AH-LAH in major automated "man voice" with German accent) has a birthday and we all go camping! It was a long drive out there, but it was worth it to drive away from the rainy weather in the city. Herald Provincial Park welcomed us, and even a house-boat renter welcomed us aboard one day!
